When searching for and selecting resources in Flow Builder, you can now choose to expand your search to include results from an expanded set of resources, like fields from records and related actions, components, and outputs. This feature was previously released in Winter ‘25, but was later removed but is not reintroducing after addressing customer feedback

How: To include more resources in your search, click Expand Search (Beta) when searching for resources

After clicking Expand Search (Beta), your search results update to include fields from records and related actions, components, and outputs. Exact matches without children, and other exact matches are returned first, followed by partial matches without children, and then other partial matches. Recommend results are also prioritized, depending on the context of your search. For example, picklist values when searching within a picklist. To go back to the standard search experience, click the reveredWhere: This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic (not available in all orgs) in Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
